EOD Drawdown

1. As your account balance increases, the  Pro Drawdown EOD adjusts upward by a fixed increment.

2. The Pro Drawdown EOD is calculated dynamically at the end of each trading day.

3.  If your balance decreases, the Drawdown value remains unchanged.

To monitor your Pro Drawdown EOD, you can use Rithmic RTrader Pro’s Auto Liquidate Threshold Value feature.

You can also view your Pro Drawdown EOD in the dashboard at the end of each trading day.

Once the Pro Drawdown EOD reaches your initial starting balance, it becomes fixed for the remainder of your evaluation. If your account balance touches or falls below this value, your evaluation account becomes ineligible for funding. The calculation of the Pro Drawdown EOD includes simulated commissions and fees.

Example: For a $50,000 account with a $2,500 drawdown limit, if the trader earns $500, the drawdown rises accordingly. This means that the account would not be lost at $47,500, but rather at $48,000.
However, if the trader has managed to make a profit of over $2,500, then the drawdown will no longer follow, but will remain at the initial balance. In this case, at $50.000.

Commissions & Fees

Instead of the standard $5 fee for e-mini contracts, traders at 4Proptrader pay only $2.

For micro contracts, the fee is$0.50 per round turn (RT).

Trading Example (Using a 100K Account):

The Pro Drawdown EOD is set at $3,500.

Day 1: Open position balance: +$100,200 → Closed at $100,000 → Drawdown: $96,500

Day 2: Open: +$100,500 → Closed at $99,000 → Drawdown: $96,500

Day 3: No trades → Balance: $99,000 → Drawdown: $96,500

Day 4: Open: +$102,000 → Closed at $100,000 → Drawdown: $96,500

Day 5: Open: +$108,000 → Closed at $105,000 → Drawdown: $100,000

Note: Unrealized winnings are not included in the Pro Drawdown EOD calculation.

Daily Loss

ONLY FOR FUNDED ACCOUNTS

To support consistent risk management and encourage sustainable trading practices, funded traders are subject to a Daily Loss Limit. On any trading day, a trader may incur a loss of up to 50% of the End-of-Day (EOD) Drawdown Limit. Exceeding this threshold is considered a rule violation. This safeguard is designed to help traders preserve their accounts and promote disciplined, long-term trading strategies.

The Daily Loss Limit is directly linked to the account's initial Drawdown Limit, not the fluctuating account balance. For instance, if you're using a 50k account with an initial Drawdown Limit of $2,500, your Daily Loss Limit will be set at $1,250. It's essential to remember that even as your account balance changes due to profits or losses, this Daily Loss Limit remains static and is always based on the initial Drawdown Limit. This structure is designed to foster consistent risk management practices among our traders.

Important: Reaching the Daily Loss Limit constitutes a rule violation and will result in the permanent closure of your account.

Monitor your Daily Loss status via Rithmic R|Trader under the Auto Liquidate Threshold Value or in your account dashboard.

Max Position Size

The Maximum Position Size refers to the total number of open contracts a trader is allowed to hold at any one time.

For example, if your Maximum Position Size is set to 5, you may hold a long position in 3 CL (Crude Oil) contracts and a short position in 2 ES (E-mini S&P 500) contracts at the same time.

Profit Target

The Profit Target is the minimum net profit a trader must achieve to qualify for a funded account.

Trading Days

To qualify for placement with our funding partners, you must engage in trading activities for a minimum of five trading days, excluding weekends and holidays.

These five trading days represent the minimum requirement; however, you may continue trading until you achieve the profit target for your evaluation account, even if it takes longer than a month.

Please note that subscription billing recurs every 30 days.

Holiday’S Trading Notice

Please keep in mind that while you may trade on holidays, any activity during these days will not count as a trading day.

Reminder

Please always keep an eye on your subscriptions! Active subscriptions must be canceled independently. We cannot refund payments that are subsequently debited from active subscriptions.  

What is the tax treatment of my profits?

Funded traders are classified as independent contractors, and rewards earned from trading are treated as ordinary income. It is advisable to consult the tax laws applicable in your country for specific information regarding taxation.

Reward Split

Enjoy a favorable reward split rate of 95%, with most profits allocated to the trader.

Additionally, funded traders retain 100% of their first $8,000 in profits. The 95% split applies only to profits beyond that amount.

Withdrawal Requirements

To provide a genuine opportunity for success, reduce the risk of drawdowns during withdrawals, and support the long-term longevity of your trading account, traders must meet the required withdrawal thresholds to become eligible for withdrawals. Withdrawal Profit Thresholds:

$10,000 account

Withdrawal profit Threshold: $600

$25,000 account

Withdrawal profit Threshold: $1,500

$50,000 account

Withdrawal profit Threshold: $3,000

$100,000 account

Withdrawal profit Threshold: $6,000

$150,000 account

Withdrawal profit Threshold: $8,000

$250,000 account

Withdrawal profit Threshold: $10,000

Example:

A trader funded with a $100,000 account and selecting the 95% reward split earns $9,000 by Day 6, raising the account balance to $109,000. Since the withdrawal threshold is $6,000, the trader becomes eligible to withdraw $3,000.

By Day 8, the trader’s account grows to $110,000. As this exceeds the threshold, the trader is now eligible to withdraw $4,000.

Withdrawal Procedure

To request a withdrawal, use the request button available on your dashboard. Once the withdrawal threshold is met, the Request Button will automatically appear and become accessible.

Withdrawal requests must meet a minimum transfer amount of $1,000, representing the trader's profit share. (Please note that there needs to be a minimum of $100 safety net above the profit withdrawal threshold limit once a payout request has been made.)

Withdrawals can be executed through Bank Wire, PayPal, and Cryptocurrency (USDT – Tron Network). Payout requests can be submitted at any time; they are processed within 24 hours and may take up to five business days to arrive.

Traders need to ensure their receiving account can accept USD payments when requesting a payout via wire transfer. If a payout is returned to 4Proptrader due to incompatibility with USD, a second payout will be issued with a $100 fee deducted to cover administrative costs.

Payout Reminder Notice

When updating your billing information, ensure that all required fields are completed accurately and reviewed thoroughly to prevent errors.

If incorrect payout details are provided and funds fail to reach your bank account, 4PropTrader will not be held liable.

Crypto Wallet Address Disclaimer

Always double-check that you have entered the correct wallet address before initiating any cryptocurrency transaction. Since these transactions are irreversible, errors can result in a permanent loss of funds.

4PropTrader is unable to retrieve or refund payouts sent to incorrect wallet addresses. By submitting a crypto payout request, you accept full responsibility for verifying the accuracy of the wallet information provided.

Note: Customers are solely responsible for paying any applicable gas fees related to the transaction.

Important Notice: Account Status and Payout Requests

To ensure that payout requests are processed successfully, your funded account must be active at the time the request is submitted. Requests from accounts that are deactivated or breached due to violations will be declined.

For instance, if a payout request is made and the account is later disabled for violating trading rules before processing is complete, the payout will not be approved.

To track your Pro Drawdown EOD, you can utilize Rithmic RTrader Pro's Auto Liquidate Threshold Value feature.

You can also view your Pro Drawdown EOD on the dashboard at the end of each day.

Once your Pro Drawdown EOD reaches your initial starting balance, it remains fixed for the duration of your evaluation. If your account balance touches or falls below this value, your Evaluation Account will no longer be eligible for funding. The Pro Drawdown EOD calculation considers simulated commissions and fees.

For example, if we take the $50,000 account, we have set the drawdown to $2500. If the trader then makes a $500 profit, this drawdown follows with exactly this amount. That means the account balance should not fall back to $47,500 to lose the account, but the account is already gone at $48,000. 
But if the trader has managed to make a profit of over $2500, then the drawdown will no longer follow but will remain at the initial balance. In this case, $50.000.

Maximum Evaluation Accounts

With 4PropTrader, you can have an unlimited number of evaluation accounts.

Is News Trading Allowed?

There are no restrictions on trading news events during the evaluation and funded phase.

Can I Trade Micros?

Certainly! You can trade micros among our approved products.

You can trade up to 10 times the number of micro-contracts for 1 standard contract. For example, on a $50,000 account, you can request to trade up to 50 micro-contracts of MNQ instead of 5 standard contracts of NQ. 

During the evaluation phase, micros are subject to a commission of $0.50 per round turn (RT).

Is There a Maximum Limit on Withdrawals?

No, there is no upper limit on withdrawals once you are funded and generate profits in your funded account. You can withdraw any amount of accumulated profit, with no maximum restrictions. Enjoy the flexibility of accessing and withdrawing your funds based on your trading success and financial goals.

Is There a Daily Loss Limit on the Accounts?

  • Yes, To ensure consistent risk management and promote sustainable trading behaviors, traders are subject to a daily loss limit. On any given trading day, a trader is only permitted to incur a loss of up to 50% of the End-of-Day (EOD) drawdown limit. Surpassing this daily threshold is considered a rule violation. This measure is in place to help traders maintain their accounts for longer durations and encourage prudent trading habits.

Which Withdrawal Methods are Available After Becoming Funded?

  • After becoming funded, you have the option to request a withdrawal via Bank Wire, PayPal, or cryptocurrency (USDT-Tron Network).

 

  • Traders must submit payout requests by Friday. Upon approval, payments will be initiated the following Tuesday. Payouts may take up to five business days to be received.

Does the Pro Drawdown EOD Cease to Trail Upward?

The Drawdown stops trailing upward once it reaches the initial account balance. This feature distinguishes us from many other firms.

 

The Pro Drawdown EOD dynamically tracks the account balance at the close of each trading day, factoring in simulated commissions and fees.

 

When the account balance reaches a new all-time high, the Drawdown will also trail and increase by the same amount until it reaches the initial account balance. At that point, it stops trailing, offering traders a valuable advantage not commonly found elsewhere.

What happens if I break a rule?

Evaluation: If you break a rule within your evaluation, you can reset the account at any time. (Reset-Fee $90).

However, it’s important to note the following:

1. It’s advisable to reset your evaluation account if it has more than 15 trading days left before its expiry.

2. Resetting your account will reset the account balance and the trading days to “0”. However, it doesn’t mean that you will get an additional 30 days, as the account will still expire on its original expiry date.

For example, resetting your account will not result in you getting an additional 30 days.

Funded Account: If you break a rule while funded, you will have to requalify via a new evaluation because a Funded account cannot be “Reset.”

If you have ongoing fees for the funded account, the subscription will be automatically canceled.

Is it necessary to have exactly 5 trading days to qualify for funding?

Absolutely not. Five trading days is the minimum requirement for eligibility with our funding partners. However, there is no maximum limit on the number of trading days. You can continue trading until you reach your profit target, even if it takes several months. The billing cycle renews every 30 days.

Is 4proptrader considered a funding company?

No. 4Proptrader is not classified as a funding company. Instead, it operates as a recruitment firm for traders seeking funding opportunities. Upon completing the evaluation, traders receive a performance trading account.

Will my Account Balance be reset when my monthly subscription renews?

No, your account balance will not be reset when your monthly subscription renews. Your trade history, executions, and the number of days traded will continue as usual, and there will be no new account created. If you have violated any of the rules and wish to reset your balance, you can do so for a fee of $90. Simply log into your dashboard and click on "RESET" to initiate the process. This will reset your starting balance and evaluation rules. Alternatively, you can start a new evaluation account by logging into your dashboard and clicking "Add Trading Account". Account resets are processed immediately and may take up to 5 minutes to reflect in your account.

Which payment methods do you support?

We offer several payment options for evaluation accounts. You can conveniently complete your purchase using any of the following methods:

My transaction was declined, what should I do?

If a payment fails, please contact our support team for assistance. However, please note that if you have an active evaluation and the payment cannot be processed, your account will be deactivated.

When will the money be debited?

Once you begin your evaluation, the billing cycle starts. As long as your evaluation remains active, the subscription fee will be charged on the same date each month throughout the duration of your evaluation.

Do I have to pay for the data after getting funded?

No, you do not have to pay for the data once you are funded. It remains completely free of charge for non-professional users.

Do I need to pay platform fees?

No, there are no platform fees for using R|Trader Pro, powered by Rithmic (our data feed provider), on either Evaluation or Funded Accounts.

However, as a funded trader, you are responsible for any fees charged by your chosen trading platform. It is your responsibility to cover all costs related to the use of that platform.

You can use any platform that supports Rithmic connectivity.

What documents do I need to provide once my account is funded?

To complete the funding process, you must submit a valid government-issued identification document.

 

Acceptable forms of identification include:

- National Identification Card

- Passport

- Driver's License

Other government-issued identification

Please ensure that your document displays a valid expiration date and your date of birth.

Can I change my password?

You can change your password by clicking on "My Account" in the dashboard. From there, you can update your account details and password.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Please note that your evaluation account will automatically expire once the subscription is terminated.

Which fees do I have to pay in the funded account?

As of September 15, 2023, we have implemented a new one-time fee structure for funded accounts. This fee covers your account for a full year. The fees are outlined below based on the account size:

  1. $250k Funded Account: 370€
  2. $150k Funded Account: 270€
  3. $100k Funded Account: 210€
  4. $50k Funded Account: 139€
  5. $25k Funded Account: 110€
  6. $10k Funded Account: 90€

What Can I Do? I Forgot to Use the Coupon Code!

If there is an active promotional offer with a coupon code, it is your responsibility to enter it during checkout.

Be sure to verify that the coupon discount is applied before completing your purchase.

If you forget to use a coupon code, we will not be able to modify or adjust the amount charged to your account.

 

I bought accounts with the wrong data provider, can I cancel them?

No, it is not possible to convert DXFeed accounts to Rithmic accounts or vice versa.

Once the purchase is completed and the accounts are created, this process cannot be reversed.

Accounts must remain with their original data feed provider.
