Rules & Definitions

EOD Drawdown

1. As your account balance increases, the Pro Drawdown EOD will expand by a predefined distance.

2. The Pro Drawdown EOD is dynamically calculated at the End of the Trading Day.

3.  If your balance decreases, the Drawdown remains unaffected.

To track your Pro Drawdown EOD, you can utilize Rithmic RTrader Pro's Auto Liquidate Threshold Value feature.

You can also view your Pro Drawdown EOD in the dashboard at the end of each day.

Once your Pro Drawdown EOD reaches your initial starting balance, it remains fixed for the duration of your evaluation. If your account balance touches or falls below this value, your Evaluation Account will no longer be eligible for funding. The Pro Drawdown EOD calculation considers simulated commissions and fees.

For example, if we take the $50,000 account, we have set the drawdown to $2500. If the trader then makes a $500 profit, this drawdown follows with exactly this amount. That means the account balance should not fall back to $47,500 to lose the account, but the account is already gone at $48,000.
But if the trader has managed to make a profit of over $2500, then the drawdown will no longer follow but will remain at the initial balance. In this case, $50.000

Commissions and Fees

Instead of the usual $5 fee for e-minis, you pay only $4 at 4proptrader.

For microcontracts, there is a fee of $1 RT (Round Turn).

Example:

Using a 100K account as an example, remember that the Pro Drawdown EOD for a 100K account is $3,500.

1st Day: You have an open position balance of +$100,200, but you close the position with a balance of $100,000. Your balance at the end of the trading day is $100,000. Your Drawdown at the end of the trading day is $96,500.

2nd Day: You have an open position balance of +$100,500, but you close the position with a balance of $99,000. Your balance at the end of the trading day is $99,000. Your Drawdown at the end of the trading day is $96,500.

3rd Day: You do not trade. Your balance at the end of the trading day is $99,000. Your Drawdown at the end of the trading day is $96,500.

4th Day: You have an open position balance of +$102,000, but you close the position with a balance of $100,000. Your account balance by the end of the trading day is $100,000. Your Drawdown at the end of the trading day is $96,500.

5th Day: You have an open position balance of +$108,000, but you close the position with a balance of $105,000. Your balance at the end of the trading day is $105,000. Your Drawdown at the end of the trading day is $100,000.

!!When calculating your Pro Drawdown EOD, your unrealized winnings are not considered.

Daily Loss

ONLY FOR FUNDED ACCOUNTS

To ensure consistent risk management and promote sustainable trading behaviors, traders are subject to a daily loss limit. On any given trading day, a trader is only permitted to incur a loss of up to 50% of the End-of-Day (EOD) drawdown limit. Surpassing this daily threshold is considered a rule violation. This measure is in place to help traders maintain their accounts for longer durations and encourage prudent trading habits.

Understanding the Daily Loss Limit:

The Daily Loss Limit is directly linked to the account's initial Drawdown Limit, not the fluctuating account balance. For instance, if you're using a 50k account with an initial Drawdown Limit of $2,500, your Daily Loss Limit will be set at $1,250. It's essential to remember that even as your account balance changes due to profits or losses, this Daily Loss Limit remains static and is always based on the initial Drawdown Limit. This structure is designed to foster consistent risk management practices among our traders.

Please make sure that you do not reach the Daily Loss, as this is a rule violation and the account will be permanently closed as a result.

*Please monitor this in Rithmic R|Trader under the Auto Liquidate Threshold Value or in our Dashboard.

Max Position Size

The Max Position Size denotes the maximum allowable number of open positions at any given time.

For instance, if your Max Position Size is set to 5, you could potentially hold a long position in 3 CL (Crude Oil) contracts and a short position in 2 ES (E-Mini S&P) contracts simultaneously.

Profit Target

The profit target represents the minimum net profit amount required to be considered for a funded account.

Trading Days

To qualify for placement with our funding partners, you must engage in trading activities for a minimum of 10 trading days, excluding weekends and holidays.

The 10 minimum trading days serve as the minimum requirement, although you are free to continue trading until you achieve the profit target for your evaluation account, even if it takes you more than a month.

Please note that subscription billing recurs every 30 days.

Reminder

Please keep an eye on your subscriptions at all times! Active subscriptions must be canceled independently, and we cannot take into account payments that are subsequently debited by an active subscription.

What is the tax treatment for my profits?

Funded traders are classified as independent contractors, and the profits earned from trading are treated as ordinary income. It is advisable to refer to the tax laws applicable in your country for specific information regarding taxation.

Profit Sharing

Enjoy an advantageous profit-sharing rate of 95%, with the majority of profits allocated to the trader.

In addition, funded traders retain 100% of their initial $8000 in profits. The 95% split takes effect only after that.

Withdrawal Requirements

To ensure a genuine opportunity for success, mitigate the risk of drawdowns during withdrawals, and safeguard the longevity of your trading account, traders must meet the specified withdrawal thresholds to be eligible for withdrawals.

Withdrawal Profit Threshold $600

$25,000

Withdrawal Profit Threshold $1,500

$50,000

Withdrawal Profit Threshold $3,000

$100,000

Withdrawal Profit Threshold $6,000

$150,000

Withdrawal Profit Threshold $8,000

$250,000

Withdrawal Profit Threshold $10,000

Illustrative Example:

Let's consider a trader who is funded with an account size of $100,000, choosing the 95% split option.

On the 6th day, the trader earns $9,000 in profits, bringing the account balance to $109,000. As the withdrawal threshold for an account of this size is $6,000, the trader becomes eligible for a withdrawal of $3,000.

By the 8th day, the account balance has increased to $110,000. According to the withdrawal thresholds, the trader can withdraw an amount of $4,000, exceeding the threshold value of $6,000.

Withdrawal Procedure

For withdrawal, we have added a withdrawal request button to your dashboard. As long as the withdrawal threshold has been met, the request will be processed in 48 hours. It's a straightforward process!

Withdrawal requests must meet a minimum transfer amount of $1,000, representing the trader's profit share. Withdrawals can be executed through Bank Wire. You can submit a withdrawal request on Mondays and Fridays.

Please note that it may take 1-2 business days for withdrawals to reflect in your account (actual posting times may vary depending on your banking institution).

Example (95% split):

Withdrawal Request: $4,000

Trader's Share*: 95% x $4,000 = $3,800

Funding Partner's Share: 5% x $4,000 = $200

The Drawdown will cease to trail upward once it reaches the initial account balance. This unique feature sets us apart from other companies.

The Pro Drawdown EOD dynamically tracks the account balance at the end of the trading day, factoring in simulated commissions and fees.

Whenever the account balance achieves an all-time high, the drawdown will also trail and increase by the same amount until it reaches the initial account balance. At that point, it stops trailing further, providing you with an advantage not commonly found elsewhere.
